John 13:1-21

The kids love to play with the water hose and the sprinkler in the front yard. But, as all good things must come to an end, so too, must playing in the sprinkler. No matter how careful they were when they were done, they’d have grass or mud on their feet by the time they got to the door. They didn’t need a bath at that point, but they did need to clean their feet before entering the house. Jesus paints a similar picture with the disciples when He washes their feet. What is His point in the conversation with Peter?
