Colossians 2:1-15 

Whether it’s high in the mountains, close to the ocean shore, or in your backyard, trees that survive severe weather do so largely because their root system is strong. Trees that start in sand dunes rarely survive long, because their roots cannot overcome the shifting sand. The same can be said for believers. Those that stand strong in storms are those who are firmly rooted. “Winds of doctrine” don’t sway them because they are firmly rooted. How are your roots?
