Romans 8:31-38

I attended Washington State University in eastern Washington. We frequently had snow in the winter, which added a beauty to the campus. It also created a problem! The campus was very hilly, and we students would often take shortcuts between classes, avoiding the sidewalks and steps that were usually safe, I can’t count how many times I slipped and slid down a “shortcut.” A snow-covered grassy hill provides little stability for walking. Many believers – and sadly, many churches – believe our relationship with God more resembles the snowy hillside than the safe sidewalks. Is the believer secure? And if so, how? God’s grace provides the answer!
