2 Corinthians 8:1-4

Money. The Beatles sang, “Can’t Buy Me Love!” but also sang, “Money don’t get everything, it’s true. But what it don’t get, I can’t use. Now give me money, that’s what I want.” Our culture puts high priority on it. Gerrit Cole, former pitcher for the Astros, now pitching for the Yankees, will “earn” $36 million throwing a baseball this next season. That comes to about $120,000 every inning. Makes one wonder, what is “enough”? We can’t get on in this world without money… and (sadly) the world also thinks the church is fixated on it. What do we do with this touchy subject, and how does this relate to our series on “Grace”? Join us Sunday – you might be surprised.
