1 Timothy 6:10

I recently received a letter about our car. “Dear Roger Fankhauser, after reviewing your status we can place you in a new car and reduce or maintain your monthly payment.” Sounds appealing – most people would like something new for the same – or even better – payment. But the letter is misleading. It said nothing about whether I still owed anything on the existing car, and if so, how that would impact the payment. And it ignored everything else about our overall financial status. So, not much of a review. But it brings to the forefront how the world sees money. Does God want us to have a different view?
