Hebrews 3:1-15

Do you expect things to always go the way you want, hope, or plan? Probably not. But what do we do when the pressure gets too great, or the pain gets too strong? Sometimes, at least for some of us, we blame God. Maybe not overtly, but inside. We harden our heart; we draw away from Him. And some, eventually, walk away from Him. If you’ve ever seen that happen to someone, you may wonder, “Why? How did this happen?” In the early church, the writer of Hebrews addresses this very issue with his readers. And he repeats a warning given by the Psalmist, “Don’t harden your heart.” It’s a warning – and an encouragement- for all of us.
