Psalm 145

We often hear about “head faith” vs. “heart faith,” usually in the context of a person’s “real” salvation. I don’t believe such a distinction exists in the Bible, but I will abuse the phrase here to remind us of an important truth: Do we point to specific ways God has worked in, through, and around us? If not, then others may well think we only have “head” (knowledge) vs. “heart” (living) faith. That doesn’t mean that we are not saved, only that people do not hear of or see the reality of God through us. Sunday, as we approach the last few Psalms in our series, let’s learn together from David, who wrote: “One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”
