This week’s announcements
- WOMENS’ BRAINSTORMING MEETING – Save the date! There will be a BBC Women’s Ministry brainstorming meeting at the church on Monday, November 17, 6:30pm. Watch for details!
- DISCIPLE-MAKERS SUMMIT – We are having a Church Leaders Summit on Saturday, November 1, from 9am to 2:15pm. Join us for a time set apart for prayer, encouragement, and strategic planning as we seek to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission. Everyone is invited to attend. Please let us know if you plan on coming so we can prepare enough materials. Lunch is provided.
- CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – We will have our annual meeting on Sunday, October 26, immediately following the worship service. Everyone is invited to attend, only those that have made a Commitment to the Community are eligible to vote. Please bring a side dish to share for the potluck lunch before the meeting.
- WOMEN’S FIRESIDE CHAT – Please join us on Monday, October 20, at 6:30pm for a Fireside Chat at the home of Janet Hammond. We will enjoy an evening of fellowship and sweet and savory s’mores around a fire pit. Watch for event and food sign-ups on the back table. Child care will be provided. Please bring a lawn chair and/or roasting stick if you have either. For more information, please contact Sherry (817-455-1675).
- MEET-N-GREET – Come meet the staff and other church leaders on Sunday, October 19, immediately following the service.
- BBC YOUTH NEEDS YOUR HELP – Many of our youth volunteer their time to help out with Awana on Sunday afternoons, this makes it difficult for them to get a decent meal before youth group starts. Please consider bringing a meal for the youth to not only fill their stomachs but also as a way to say thank you to them for their time. If you would like to do so, please follow the link in the update to sign up to bring a meal.
