Jaris and Sherry Roth are from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They were married in 1990, and have three grown children, Zachary and his wife Damiana (Azle, TX), Alexandria and Carson, and their son Levi, (Fort Worth, TX), and Gabriel and his fiancée, Lelly (Carrollton, TX). Jaris began serving as the worship pastor at Burleson Bible Church in January of 1996.
He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wayland Baptist University, and a Master of Music degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sherry is an LMSW at Universal Health Services, in Fort Worth. Jaris is a classically trained trumpet player, and also enjoys playing flutes and synthesizers.
His desire is to usher others into an intimate experience with God through corporate worship. He uses music to help connect worshipper to the truths being taught in God’s Word. Jaris also enjoys teaching the Bible in the Adult Bible Fellowship class. Helping the congregation fully understand and experience true worship is the priority of his ministry.
