Shawn and Jen come to Burleson following more than a decade of ministry in the greater New Orleans area. Shawn was born in upstate NY and Jen was born on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. They have been married since 2007 and have four children, three at home and one in college. Shawn has pastored for over 18 years and anticipates that he will enjoy many more years in service to the church and community of Burleson.
Shawn earned a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University and an M.Div. from Capital Bible Seminary. Jen earned an M.A. in Christian Counseling and Discipleship from Capital Bible Seminary and she currently homeschools their three younger children.
Shawn desires to see all Christians grow in their depth of understanding of the Bible so that their lives can reflect the love and righteousness of the Savior. He is available to meet with those seeking counsel, and he loves to share the Gospel of grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
