Christian Concern

Christian Concern

Philippians 2:19–30

This Sunday, we’re going to look at a part of Philippians that might seem like just Paul’s travel plans at first, but it actually gives us a powerful example of what real Christian care and concern looks like.

Paul talks about two men, Timothy and Epaphroditus. They weren’t famous or flashy. They just genuinely cared about people. Timothy had a heart like Jesus, he wasn’t in it for himself. And Epaphroditus? He almost died just trying to help Paul and serve the church.

Their lives cause us to stop and ask ourselves “Do I really care about others, or just myself?” “Am I someone who shows up for people when it matters?”
“What does it look like to live a life that puts Jesus and others first?”

These verses are a great reminder that God works through ordinary people with hearts of genuine concern for others. Join us this Sunday to see what true Christian concern looks like and how we can demonstrate it to others.
