Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged

Romans 2:1

How many times have we heard someone say this? Oftentimes when people say this it is in effort to deflect from their sinful practices so as to alleviate their conscience. However, this principle is true as it was espoused by both Jesus and the Apostle Paul. What does it mean to “do not judge, lest ye be judged?” That is the subject of Romans chapter 2. This Sunday, we will begin chapter two in our series,  Righteousness, Wrath, and Rescue: A Journey through Romans 1-8.
