When was the last time you were afraid? Perhaps you experienced a major change in life that left you anxious and apprehensive. This Sunday I will take us through an account of Joshua facing an overwhelming task. God appointed him as the new leader of Israel with the responsibility of leading the nation into the Promised Land. Though Joshua was fearful, God, not only exhorted him to be strong and courageous, but promised that He would with him wherever he goes. Do we allow fear to supersede the truth that God is also with us? Is the command to be strong and courageous applicable for us today? Join us Sunday as we worship and study God’s Word together.
