Philippians 3:1-3
Do you ever feel the pressure to prove yourself? Whether at work, home, church, or even in your walk with God? It seems easy to adopt the mindset that we have to somehow prove our worth to others.
In Philippians 3, Paul reminds us of a better way to live. He tells us to find our joy in Jesus, not in our performance. He warns us to watch out for anything that pulls us away from the simple truth of the gospel. And then he reminds us of who we really are in Christ, not because of our efforts, but because of His grace.
This Sunday, we’ll look at how to stop seeking approval and start resting in the truth: Jesus is enough.
