Is the Gospel uniting the Church? Is the Gospel uniting our church? The Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed to unite God to man through the sacrifice of His Son. But, it is also given to unite the family of God with one another. So, now that the Gospel has united us with our Heavenly Father, how is our heavenly family dynamic on earth going?
the Apostle Paul “longed” to see and be with his church family in Rome. He couldn’t wait to see them and have mutual ministry with them. He was sincerely excited about being with them, if the Lord willed, and looked forward to that time, if and when it came.
Is this how you view your brothers and sisters in Christ? Do you long to see them each week and encourage one another in your faith? Are there some church family members that you do not desire to see or even avoid? If we are a Gospel Church, we will be a united church.
